Summer Day Camp at HEA

Looking for a fun-filled day for your kids where they can learn about Happily Ever After, animal welfare, being a good pet owner, and more? HEA is thrilled to offer four one-day camp sessions this summer to engage the smallest of animal lovers. These sessions include projects and games that teach kids all about our work, why animal welfare is important, and how to be a responsible pet owner. Plus, campers will get to spend time up close and personal with HEA’s adoptables!

Register now, space is limited.
Cost: $30/camper. Includes all games, projects, and activities provided during camp and a one-of-a-kind HEA bag!
Camp is for kids ages 7-12. Campers are responsible for bringing their own cold lunch, water, sunscreen, bug spray, and any medications they may require. Camp is located at HEA’s Adoption Center and includes interactions with both cats and dogs.

Summer 2019 Dates: July 17th, July 23rd (FULL), August 8th, August 16th (FULL)

Since our founding in 2006, we have seen great progress in the companion animal welfare world. Needless killing in shelters continues to decline. Organizations across the country are moving toward a no-kill measure. The agreed upon no-kill measure has been defined as a 90% live release rate. Our view is that 90% isn't enough. We are determined to see the day when the remaining 10% receive continued care and love too.

Innovative solutions are produced when killing is removed from the equation.
