Nissa

This black and white beauty is a very special feline. Nissa loves other cats, but she doesn’t trust humans enough to show them her true, playful nature. If she spies a member of our care team enjoying her antics with a toy, she’ll immediately stop playing. But if one of our caretakers is outside the room, but within earshot, they’ll often hear the sound of Nissa’s delighted feet giving chase around her suite. Although Nissa is very selective with human interaction, she will sometimes allow a few pets on the head while preoccupied with a tasty meal.

Sponsors are beyond meaningful to cats like Nissa. While Nissa isn’t the most welcoming cat, she isn’t unfriendly either. She just prefers a feline-filled life! We’re happy to give that to her. It’s definitely not an inconvenience to adjust our care methods to benefit the emotional needs of this pretty girl.
