If you love Miranda Lambert, you know she loves animals.

The country singer is hoping her fans will help her help out Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary by bringing pet supplies along to her March 2 concert at the Resch Center. Lambert is asking concert goers to Fill the Little Red Wagon, a reference to her 2015 hit, “Little Red Wagon.”

Every fan who brings an item for the no-kill shelter, with locations in Ashwaubenon and Marion, will be registered for a chance to win a ticket upgrade and a meet and greet for two. There is one entry per person for anybody who donates.

Items can be dropped off in the Resch lobby from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. the night of the show. The winner’s name will be drawn by 7 p.m.

Suggested items are Purina Complete puppy, dog or cat chow, Purina Kitten Chow, Friskies Pate (canned), Blue Buffalo Grain Free Cat Food, gift cards to Menards, Fleet Farm, Petco, PetSmart, Kwik Trip or Shell, Kong, JW Pet or Tuffy brand toys, soft dog treats, unscented dryer sheets, bleach, The Almost Destructible Ball and heavy duty tall kitchen garbage bags.

In 2009, Lambert and her mother founded MuttNation Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the mission to end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness. The organization’s Facebook page shows photos of earlier stops on her current Highway Vagabond Tour with the wagon overflowing with donations.

Lambert travels with some of her smaller dogs on tour.
